The Farm

“We spend a lot of time with our cattle. They’re the first stop of the day and the last stop of the day.”

— Curt Honeycutt

Our animals are raised on our farm from birth to processing and our focus is on providing a stress-free environment with high-quality care. We raise Angus-based cattle and a small British White herd on pasture, year-round.

We soil test and practice rotational grazing, letting fields rest and recover before our cattle return for fresh grass. We grow all of the supplemental hay that our cattle eat on our own farm and we buy our finishing feed from local farms, supporting our local economy.

With all of these farming practices combined, we have complete traceability of our animals throughout their lives to ensure a healthy and high-quality product.

“Sustainability means to me that my children and future generations will have the option to be a part of this farm. It means producing the highest quality product for the community from our grain to our cattle while being mindful of our impact on the land."”

— Curt Honeycutt

We practice intentional water quality management of the streams flowing through our pastures and have designed fencing that allows specific areas where cattle can access the stream for fresh water.
