“A cow with low stress is a quality cow. She’s happy, she’s healthy, and her calf is happy and healthy as well.”

— Curt Honeycutt

Honeycutt Farms Beef

What sets Honeycutt Farms beef apart? Our delicious, nutritious meat starts with the way we raise our animals. Our cattle are:

  • Raised on our farm from birth to processing

  • Always on pasture

  • Fed our own farm-grown hay

  • Fed a locally-grown finishing feed

  • Selected for premium-quality, tender beef

  • Not given added hormones or antibiotics

Our beef is dry-aged for 21 days for the best tenderness and flavor. It comes to you from a single animal, processed at a USDA-inspected facility, vacuum-sealed and flash frozen and labeled to conveniently store in your freezer.

Beef Shares

Stock up at our best prices!

Buying a share of our pasture raised beef is the most economical option if you have freezer space.

  • Choose from a 1/4, 1/2 or whole animal. Our price per pound for beef shares is based on the hanging weight of the animal, which is the weight of the animal before the final trim. We require a deposit, which is applied to the final cost.

  • See the resources below to help calculate your annual meat consumption and freezer space.

  • We’ve included below the estimated cost and estimated take home pounds for each share. Every animal is different! There are many variables and natural variations that contribute to their final size. The final hanging weight of our cattle can range from 650-850lbs.

  • We include the costs of processing, packaging, delivery to and from USDA processor, and sales tax in the prices below.

  • Cuts are standard for ¼ and ½ shares but can be customized for a whole share.

  • When your order is ready, we’ll arrange with you to pickup your meat at our farm in Coats, NC.

In some cases, it may be possible to arrange local delivery or meet up, just ask us!
